Welcome!

Are you tired of the conventional social internet? So am I! But I also have the gift of the gab and therefore really enjoy having somewhere to show off my thoughts, even if it's just me screaming into the void.

I'm just a random person from Ireland who thought it would be fun to therefore make a website to allow me to ramble as much as I please, without worrying if anyone likes it or is even listenig. The URL is a reference to the Patrick Kavanagh poem Peace.

I try my best to make this site screen-reader friendly and if you use a screenreader and notice something is broken please tell me! If you also have a website and haven't already made it accessible I would really encourage you to do so.

(I will complain about loading times for changes, and probably also obvious coding errors on my part. I know both are easy fixes I'm aware, but let a suffering lad have some space.)

• 16/12/2025 8:55pm:Fixed an issue on the knitting page and updated the about mepage! Still waited for the changes on the latter to load.
• 16/12/2025 6:00pm: Updated the home page for the first time in forever! (pour one out for the Hill of Tara photo, you were blurry as hell)
• 15/12/2025 9:30pm: Added my first post to the knitting page!
• 14/12/2025 2:43pm: Doing something more than just telling you about the books I read for once! There is now a knitting page and a photography page!
