Art

Here is the page where I put my art! It's mostly of nature these days but you may find some (gasp) human beings here too. I'm a traditional artist so this art is either scans or taken with my tiny digital camera that can barely focus, but ah sure look it it's still here. Sorted newest to oldest.

a watercolour and pencil drawing of a stylised, folk-art hare sitting down in profile. yellow flowers with a green center pattern the background.

Another hare, what can I say I like them. The flowers in the background are called lesser celandine and are found along the floor of the woods at this time of year!

A watercolour drawing of a stylised, folk-art hare leaping through dandelions on a white background. most of the dandelions are under the hare, one is infront of its shoulder and one is weaved through its front legs, under its stomach and extends up above it. both the hare and the flower part of the dandelion are filled with darker dots/streaks.

This drawing is very heavily inspire by Maria Prymachenko, a Ukrainian folk artist, as well as a lot of folk art generally.
